Reaching for the Stars, the Power of a Crazy Dream

This talk by The Sky at Night’s Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, hosted by Hannah Newton, Project Manager (Technology), is part of a series of inspirational leadership talks arranged and hosted by members of the STFC Accelerated Development Programme. Maggie joined us online to discuss the premise of aiming impossibly high in order to reach goals that would otherwise be unobtainable. Through the talk, she explained how this premise has been a driving force in her own life and how it has also driven some areas of science to achieve what was, until recently, considered impossible.
